At Owlet, your baby’s safety is our top priority. We put in over 100,000 hours of testing the Owlet to make sure it met top quality and safety standards before it became an integral part of your nursery. All that hard work paid off because Owlet is a baby safety award winner! Just to prove it to you, we’ve put together a list of our safety awards Owlet won.

JPMA Innovation Awards Winner — Safety Category and Parents Pick

Out of hundreds entered, only 10 products can claim rights to the 2015 Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) Innovation Award. A selection committee made of media representatives and retail buyers judge products on their appeal and usefulness among other things. We’re honored that we walked away with the Safety Category award and the Parent’s Pick award in hopes that it gets us one step closer to raising awareness about accidental suffocation among parents of newborns.

The Bump Best of Baby Tech: Baby Safety & Audience Pick

The Bump started a new competition this year to find the Best of Baby Tech. Each product is reviewed by a panel of judges, but only three make it to the finalist round in each category. Once a product makes it to the finalists round, it’s up to the judges scores and the parents vote! We were so happy to hear we won the Baby Safety category AND Audience Pick!

We’re working hard every day to improve Owlet and promote safe sleep. Owlet is unique in the baby safety category because it’s the only baby monitor to use clinically-proven technology in the home, designed to notify you if your baby’s oxygen levels fall out of range. Our technology, pulse oximetry, is safe, proven and accurate. It’s been used in hospitals by doctors and nurses for centuries. We’re on a mission to change lives, and safety is at the helm of that goal.
