Love Letter: Happiest Day of My Life | The Vintage Blonde
February 19, 2016
You are just four months old as I am writing this and I want you to know that the day you were born was the happiest day of my life. Words can’t even begin to describe my love for you. I look into your sparkly eyes and am just in complete awe of you. I feel so incredibly lucky to be your mom. When we first brought you home from the hospital you were so good and would almost sleep through the night. They say to new moms that when baby sleeps you sleep, but I couldn’t do that because all I wanted to do was watch you and stare.
You are growing so very fast and I wish we could slow the time down. You are now rolling over and inching yourself across the room. I’m so excited to watch you grow and for all your milestones to come. You love it when we sing the Jingle Bell Rock. Your adorable little face just lights up every time we sing that song. You like to smile and laugh and it never gets old.
I want you to know that you are loved deeply and completely. You light up my life! I look forward to every day I get to be with you.
I hope one day you are proud to have me as your Mom because I am so proud to call you my daughter. And just know that I will always be there for you and love you unconditionally.
