See a Breakdown of How Your Baby Sleeps

View your baby’s sleep patterns and trends with the Owlet App when using the Smart Sock!

We understand that sleep is critical to your infant’s overall wellness, mood, and development. By tracking your baby’s heart rate and movement, we can provide insights into total hours slept, awake times and a breakdown of your baby’s light vs. deep sleep. You can then use this data to help create routines and develop healthy sleep habits for your baby.

Simply download the Owlet App and make sure your Smart Sock is connected to your app account. Start using the Smart Sock with your little one and history will then auto-populate in the History tab on your app.

Check out some fun Owlet sleep statistics below!

We have been using the owlet for 5 weeks now, since we brought our daughter home from the hospital. I’ve noticed that the app says she ALWAYS has “poor” sleep quality….and maybe once or twice it has said “okay” sleep quality. I’m confused because she seems to be sleeping well to me when she is asleep… She does wear the owlet constantly. It doesn’t come off except to charge, to bathe her, or to clean the sock. Can wearing it all the time Vs just when you actually lay them down to sleep cause these readings? How is the sleep quality determined in the first place? Sorry, these readings just have me thinking maybe something isn’t right?
*Also just to note I posted this same question under a different article before I saw this one

Hi Amanda, the Smart Sock is only designed to be used while your little one is sleeping. As it sounds like your constantly using it, that could definitely have an impact on the sleep quality as it’s expected that it’s only used when your baby is sleeping. 🙂

I can’t find a chart like that on my app (using the New Owlet app on Android 10). Please help

Hi Stephanie! You can find this under the History tab in the app.

My owlet and app do not track my son’s sleep. Why is that? It also doesnt show the history of his o2 and heart rate.

Hey Lauren, reach out to our Customer Care Team via chat in the Owlet app and they’ll look into this for you!
