The Smart Sock comfortably wraps around your baby’s foot to track heart rate and oxygen levels using clinically-proven pulse oximetry. The base station glows green to let you know everything is okay but will notify with lights and sounds if something appears to be wrong.

Hello, i want to download the app but it is not available for my country. How can I get it without appstore?

Hi Marcel, the Connected Care App is currently only available in countries where the Smart Sock is sold and will become available in other locations as our shipping boundaries expand.

I love the connected care app! I love the tracking feature and knowing my baby is safe. I do pay for the subscription, however I tend to agree with others. It’s very misleading and I feel with a price tag of $299 it should be included! All this is is a glorified pulse oximiter they adapted to fit on a baby’s foot and in a sock. While it is amazing the $299 price point is a bit steep in my opinion. Especially when they want to charge you another $60 year for the app.

I absolutely love my owlet and the connected care app! My 5 week old son has RSV and being able to track his O2 levels and report back to his dr has actually kept him out of the hospital. Mr dr. told us that 75% of kids his age with RSV end up in the hospital but with this app he’s comfortable with us staying at home monitoring him there. The connected care app slows me to keep track of his reading and save them for the dr, I love it!
60$ a year is NOTHING, and I will gladly pay that for my peace of mind.. thank you owlet!

I’m going to have to agree with the others here… This service is something most thought was part of buying the sock to begin with… Should be no reason to buy something extra… Readings are not even included in notifications… And by the time you open the notification and it connects to base station and does the whole… “Checking on baby”…. Probably a good 30sec later… The current readings are irrelevant to the alert..
Im pretty disappointed here.. I feel misled and cheated… I paid a premium price for this device and refuse to pay extra for feature that is re labled as a service… That should be standard..

Can more than one user use the connected care app? For instance, myself and my husband on two separate iPhone devices? Or is it restricted to the person who registered only?

Hi Nicole! You both should be able to login using the original login credentials.

It stopped working three days after installation. It simply won’t allow me to login. I’ve tried reinstalling as well as running updates with no luck. It was fantastic while it worked but it’s disappointing to have it fail so soon.

Oh no! Try the following- log out of the Owlet app and Connected Care. Wait about 10 minutes before first logging back into the Owlet app then Connected Care again. If this doesn’t help, please give our team a call at (844) 334-5330 Monday-Saturday 7am-9pm MT and they’ll look into this for you.

I ought mine June 23. Why don’t I qualify for he longer free trial?

And I agree with prior users. YOUguys should be ashamed of the amount of greed you’re demonstrating.

I can’t seem to find what the fee is for the connected care platform once the free trial runs out

Every Owlet user will receive a free, two-week trial, and from there, it’s $7.99/month or $60 with an annual subscription.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one extremely disappointed in the fee on top of the $300 price tag.

I think Connected Care is Awesome!

How cool that a company would listen to their customers and add a new feature to an already priceless product!

My babies life and my sleep are both invaluable to me!

Thanks for adding this new way to look at historical data from the device!

And, thanks for offering a free trial to let us assess whether Connected Care is worth the $8 per month price tag!

Hi!! Very excited for the launch of Connected Care- I am sure you have answered this question somewhere but I am not finding it. When will the Android version of Connected Care be available? Thank you!!

Hey Kyle! We don’t have a release date but our team is working hard to make this available to Android users in the future!

What a bunch of whiners. Thanks Owlet for the cool add on. I love the product and I’m looking forward to the addition.

Yes I just downloaded the new app connected care and it will not let me login it keeps saying sorry something went wrong!

Hi Jenny, if you’re still experiencing this issue, please give our team a call at (844) 334-5330 Monday-Saturday 7am-9pm MT and they’ll look into this for you.

I agree. Why are we paying extra after paying $300 for the product. All other devices similar to this have this information for free.

How much will it be after trials expire?

Hi! After the free two-week trial, it’s $7.99/month or $60 with an annual subscription.

Before connected care became available, where on your website did it state that there would be an additional cost for connected care? I purchased this sock a week ago specifically for the connected care feature and now I’m stuck with the sock(non refundable) and need to pay more money to use the main feature that sold me on the product.

Hi Jennifer, you can see more about Connected Care on our website here: http://www.owletcare.com/connected-care/ Each purchase of the Smart Sock 2 comes with a 45-day satisfaction guarantee and 1-year warranty so you can return your unit if you’re unhappy.

When I purchased my owlet I remember seeing we’d get a six month trial of the connected care. How do we go about getting that?

Hey Jen! We did offer customers who purchased through our website between March 29 and June 1, 2017, a free one-year subscription to Connected Care. We will be providing redemption codes to those who received that promotion by the first week of October. In the meantime, all users all eligible for the two-week trial, so you can get started using Connected Care today!

Candace Hightower

We pusrchased ours from your website in May 2017 but did not receive our redemption code.

Hey Candace! Send our team an email to subscriptions@owletcare.com and they’ll look into this for you.

Never mind, just got the email. So to get this straight. We pay $300 for a product where we need to pay monthly just to see any historical data from that product?

You know that Nest lets you see historical data of the Nest Protect and Thermostat for free right? Fitbit lets you see all historical data (heart rate, steps, sleep patterns, workout history, food intake, etc) for completely free.

I don’t understand why I need to pay to see a simple history of my data.

Hi Joseph! Connected Care is an offering in addition to the Smart Sock product. With your Smart Sock app, which is free, you have live readings, as well as notification history for the past three days. Connected Care comes as a response to parents who have requested to see additional insights and trends, beyond what is displayed in the free app. Just like your iPhone where some apps and services you can access through the phone are available for an additional cost, this is an additional service available for Owlet users. Please note, every user can try it out for two weeks free.

What happens after the 14 day trial?

Umm you said you can see the history of the last 3 notifications…. Nah I don’t see that anywhere in the smart sock app… We received a red alert tonight while I was holding the baby.. I think it was a false alarm but I can’t even see what the reading was at the time… I’m an Android user and can’t even have access to this service which should be included free of charge…. I mean it should be no hard feat to just view the readings over a period of time.. it really should be part of the normal purchase of the sock. I was under the impression that this basic feature would be available when I made the purchase. The app is so dumbed down that it’s pretty much useless..
